Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch has been caring for dogs since 2007! We are proud to offer our homestyle dog boarding service to people who want to give their dog an enriching, positive, boarding experience, and thereby free themselves of concern for their dog when they travel. 

We know that not all dogs are suited to stay in dog kennels or larger scale pet boarding facilities; at Tucson Adventure Dog Ranch we offer a unique service to our clients and their dogs. Our fenced hiking acreage, inground swimming pool, dog agility playground, comfortable shaded veranda, and comfortable custom home provide a wonderful dog boarding vacation experience that cannot be found at other dog kennels, pet boarding services, or dog daycares in Tucson, Green Valley, Vail, Sahuarita or at other local . We offer the amenities of a pet resort, the comforts of home, and the outdoor nature and activities of a dog ranch all in a a true southwest setting. 

I am pet first aid and CPR certified and a long standing supporter of the  Humane Society Of Southern Arizona, Pima Animal Care Center, and many dog and animal rescue groups. 

Using positive reinforcement techniques that utilize praise, rewards, consistency, timing, healthy boundaries, and leadership we foster trust and comprehension in the dog's mind.   Positive rewards (praise and treats) are what we like to use when we are teaching our boarding dogs how to use the equipment in our agility playground, and also to pose for pictures!

Although my background is in the corporate world and exercise physiology, I've been involved with dog rescue and fostering for over 25 year, and offering pet care on a professional level for over a decade.  I've trained all of my own dogs, many foster dogs, including those found on the streets of Arizona, and reinforce appropriate canine behavior with our Ranch guests. 

By fostering trust, a harmonious, balanced relationship between person and dog is created. We bring a dog into our lives, and they enrich it in more ways than can easily be counted. It serves us and our dog(s) to enhance this relationship by teaching our canine companion(s) how we want them to behave and what we expect from them, in a way that promotes trust. It is a dog's nature to follow our lead when we provide clear, positive, kind and benevolent leadership. By establishing this natural relationship with our dogs, we are able to fully enjoy one of the most rewarding relationships in life. I live this philosophy each day at Adventure Dog Ranch.

Angela is phenomenal with my pups! She genuinely cares for the pups which allows me to leave my fur babies without a worry in the world! Worth every penny and then some! Amazing, phenomenal, loving and attentive!

 Just a quick note to thank you for taking such good care of Koko and Ripley. One of the things that we were most concerned about when we left Madison, WI to move to Tucson was where we would board Koko and Ripley.  Well, our concerns were unfounded thanks to the wonderful dog boarding service that you provide. We are so pleased to have found you and humbled by the loving care and attention you give all of your guests. Koko and Ripley returned home happy, healthy, and of course tired from all of the play time, nature walks, and swimming. We loved getting the daily photo albums and seeing how much fun Koko and Ripley were having.  Koko and Ripley are definitely looking forward to their next stay!
